In this episode of Ledger Cast, I talk to Derek about the landscape for investing in ICOs as an accredited investor, as well as investing in the broader cryptocurrency ecosystem, the regulatory uncertainties for the space, and more.

Derek is a partner at Shannon Waltchack -- a full service commercial real estate and property management firm in Birmingham, Alabama. We discuss how his experience in real estate helps him view this market, and even dig into his ideal blockchain-based disruption for his own industry.

Derek and I are actually going to be interviewing some project teams together, and I think it will be valuable given his experience as an investor and mine more from the trading side. So this is like an introductory interview for the Ledger Cast audience.

I've really come to admire the way Derek approaches this industry, and I think you will enjoy his insights as well.
